Biography :  

Dr. Prasit Wuthisuthimethawee received medical doctor in 1999 from Prince of Songkla University, Songkhla, Thailand. He is a certified general surgeon and emergency physician in Faculty of Medicine, Prince of Songkla University. In 2004, He received an honorary fellowship in the Colorectal Unit, Department of Surgery, National University Hospital, Singapore. In 2012, hewas awarded the “Weary” Dunlop-Boonpong Exchange Scholarship from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the Royal College of Surgeons of Thailand to take a trauma surgery fellowship at The Alfred Hospital, Melbourne, Australia. He is interested in disaster preparedness for mass gatherings, mass casualties, man-made and natural disaster events in hospitals and cities, and regional and national areas up to international levels. He is also interested in the EMS system in both system development and system governance that can support disaster response.
