Jody C. DiGiacomo, Nassau University Medical Center
Dr. DiGiacomo earned his Bachelor’s of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania and his Medical Degree from the Temple University School of Medicine. After his surgical residency at St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton, New Jersey, Dr. DiGiacomo completed a two year fellowship in Trauma and Surgical Critical Care at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. DiGiacomo has served as a Director of Trauma, Surgical Residency Program Director, and Director Surgical Critical Care, as well as a successful private practice in Surgery. He has extensive experience in endoscopy as well as open, laparoscopic, minimally invasive, and robotic surgery. He has held numerous academic appointments, and has received many academic and National awards, including be named in Who's Who for America, Who's Who in Health and Medical Services, and Who's Who in Finance and Industry, and America's Top Surgeons by the Consumer's Research Council of America. Dr. DiGiacomo is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the American Association for the Surgery of Trauma, and the Philadelphia College of Physicians. He is the author of over 50 academic publications and book chapters.
